YEAR 2017 –  Aracne Publishing House

New technologies allow today the superposition of digital contents to the pages of a book framed with the camera of a smartphone or a tablet.
And so the paper book comes alive, literally takes life. In fact, thanks to augmented reality, an infinite number of new contents, such as audio and video images, find space between the printed pages of a text.
The Aracne publishing house strongly believes in the potential and growth of augmented reality and offers its know-how with the support of THE ROUND.

Cerealia 2017

Cerealia 2017

YEAR 2017 CEREALIA VII EDITION – ROME

Cerealia is a festival dedicated to all cereals, as in fact it took place in ancient Rome in the ancient rites of the Vestal Virgins and in the Ludi of Ceres. In a broader vision, the festival is extended to the countries of the Mediterranean basin, hence the sub-title Cerere and the Mediterranean. The ancient rituals of Vestal and Ludi di Cerere, re-evoked in scenic form, constitute the “Roman” element that characterizes each edition of the festival. For this edition of Cerealia. THE ROUND (technology partner) has realized the promotional application of augmented reality on the brochure.

Villa Mondragone in augmented reality: The 2015 calendar

This project “Villa Mondragone in augmented reality” was born from the collaboration of THE ROUND and the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, on the initiative of Professor Franco Giannini (President of the Degree in Electronic Engineering, Director of Department, Vice Rector for International Affairs). The project is divided into several parts that will be released from time to time. In this video we see the 2015 calendar, with images of the splendid Villa di Mondragone (Monte Porzio Catone, Rome) in augmented reality.
